The Inn at Bay Fortune - Five Star Luxury Inn

We enjoyed another exceptional dining experience at the Inn at Bay Fortune, during our visit to PEI again this year. The food and service are excellent, but it is really the full experience of the food stations outside in the garden, and connecting nature to the quality of the food, that makes it unique. This is a must for anyone that is passionate about quality food and taking care of the land and sea.

I had an incredible dinner experience at The Inn at Bay Fortune yesterday! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Our server Scott was absolutely the best — attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel extra special. The chefs were true professionals, and I really appreciated how Chef Daniel took the time to explain each dish, making the whole experience more personal and memorable. The food itself was outstanding — every plate was beautifully prepared, bursting with flavor, and the desserts were simply awesome. This was more than just dinner, it was an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend The Inn at Bay Fortune if you’re visiting PEI!

Attended the Fireworks feast. Exceptional experience. I am not a foodie but it was a great experience. I was impressed with the philosophy. Treatment of staff. Arrived at 3 pm to see fields where vegetables are grown. Given a real passionate explaination of cultivation. Lasted 6 hrs and 25 minutes but went by fast. Not rushed. An experience. The passion is infectious. Was paced perfectly. I enjoyed how motivated the staff were. There were about 70 guests. Totally unique dining experience. Worth the price. I am a bit of a food heathen lol but the presentation was quite artistic. Very memorable! Everyone was motivated but I found basic philosophy of Michael Smith to be a bonding agent.

My only qualm is that the scale only goes to 5 stars. On top of this being part of our honeymoon, this was a bucket list event for both of us. I've followed Chef Michael since I was a young chef and my partner goes gaga over gardens. Everything from the check-in, to the rooms, to Oyster Hour, to the toasts and family style dinners (and the surprise breakfast we had no idea about) was incredible. I'm very rarely at a loss for words but I was in such bliss this entire time, that if ever I failed to express how happy we were being here, I am sorry. We can't wait to return, with friends in tow. This is truly a foodie find. The Fireworks Feast was an incredible and absolutely unforgettable experience. The welcoming team, including the bar hands were amazing upon arrival and we loved our quaint, well appointed room. The farm chat with Kevin then Michael was informative and fun and gave us context on why this is a total passion place. The oyster hour with other apps was literally jaw dropping. Dinner was a well orchestrated ballet of sorts - mesmerizing in fact. The food was off the chains delish and portions were perfect. We are already looking at booking next year. Thanks to Chef Michael & team for invigorating my culinary keenness! I WILL be making the recipes from the cookbook. Thanks for signing it! We were so fortunate to enjoy Bay Fortune your way!!!!

Transcendence is defined as a heightened sense of connection and awareness. A bit much? Nope! Coming to the The Inn at Bay Fortune for the Fireworks Feast is something beyond a meal, and it surpasses an experience. Transcendence. My favorite part was the oyster hour, with 5 serving stations, raw oysters (3 varieties), grilled oysters, roasted duck hearts, smoked salmon, grilled bluefin tuna and Taco's! Patrick and I became fast friends at the oyster bar. He shucked, I ate! Matt's farmer talk was great, he is so passionate about the Inn, and gave a terric talk about the farm and inn. The main feast was incredible, with every dish prepared perfectly. I had nothing to critique about anything. People come from around the world to elevate their culinary journey, as should you. Book way in advance, and prepare to be amazed. I sure was. P.s. their oyster shucking record will be broken this year of over 66,000. In 166 days, that's a lot of oysters. I ate over 2 dozen. I did my part, now you do yours!

Absolutely amazing time staying at the Inn with my fiancée. I reached out to reception prior to arriving, to let them know that i would be proposing and asked if they had any recommendations. The staff went above and beyond to make the day extra special for us, including an arrangement in our room and seating at the Chef's table - which we did not expect! The farm and inn were beautifully maintained and clearly a lot of thought went into the design. The service is unmatched - every staff member is happy to be there and expresses passion in their work. Last but not least - the food was exceptional. It wasn't just a stay at an inn and a nice dinner, it was an entire experience that we will never forget. We will be back again.
